Lalith Prasad

Hello. I'm a data engineer, working mostly with Snowflake, Spark, Python, Snowpark and PySpark. Before that I was a backend engineer building services in Java and Spring Boot.

I build things I actually use, and some just for fun.

Recent projects

SpotJournal

A photo journal for iPhone. Photos, places and notes stay on the phone, and the whole journal exports to a PDF or a backup file you keep.

MacOSPhotoViewer

One HTML file that browses a folder of photos and videos. Built for Apple Photos exports: it hides the leftover files, joins Live Photos back together, and rebuilds long exposures.

WhatsAppPDF

Turns a WhatsApp chat export into a readable PDF. Keeps the photos, links and emoji, handles Telugu, Hindi and other scripts, and can lock the file with a password.

CTEFlow

Draws a long SQL query as a picture, so you can see which step feeds which. Runs on your machine and gives you a single HTML file you can share.
